This is a great houseboat on a great location. The terrace has the sun all the afternoon, and with the water and many green plants outside, it feels like being out in nature. Yet it's in the middle of the city, with the old church bells heard from the distance. The boat has a nice living room, a small but comfortable bedroom, and a bathroom. Perfect for two persons. The kitchen is well equipped. There are also two bikes to be used in the city. This is not only a good place to explore the city from, but it's also tempting to just stay in and hang out on this beautiful boat.

Also, wir können nur sagen. Mirjam ist eine Gastgeberin der seltenen herzlichen Art! Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon darauf! Danke für die schönen Tage im Bootshaus und der genialen Terrasse wo wir entspannen konnten. Es ist alles vorhanden. Von der Küche, bis zum genialem Bett mit mega Einschlaf Panorama! OK, die Touristen Boote die ständig Fotos von uns machten, haben wir mit winke winke freundlich ignoriert. War auch irgendwie Klasse den Neid zu genießen..... Wer das besondere in Zentraler Lage von Amsterdam sucht, ist hier genau richtig!!! Für uns, mit Gastgeberin Mirjam, ein Geheimtipp für Amsterdam!! Und ich bin oft beruflich in Amsterdam. Having had the privilege to stay in 5 star hotels in cities throughout the world, the experience staying on the lovely houseboat was one of the best and my husband and I would not consider staying anywhere else when we return to Amsterdam. This was our first time using airbnb and we were not sure how it would be and would now recommend it to anyone. The boat itself was spotlessly clean, the large lounge and kitchen area were perfect and having the outside terrace with all the flowers and comfortable seating was just great. In fact, the passing tour boat passengers were continually taking photographs of what is definitely the prettiest house boat on the canal. Exactly 10 minutes’ walk from Amsterdam Central - we timed it with cases! And less than 5 minutes to Chinatown, Red light and Nieumarkt we had thought it may be quite noisy at night, but it was so peaceful, with just the beautiful clock tower that chimes. Also would recommend visiting Captein & Co the local café bar restaurant, it became our local. To have this amount of space and a view of the centre of Amsterdam if at a hotel would be a huge amount of money. Also our host Mirjam kindly took us on a great boat trip around the canals. Just can’t wait to return

Had a great Bank Holiday weekend with my wife and 13 year old daughter. The house boat was in a quiet but centrally located part of Amsterdam (5 mins walk from Centraal Station). We were lucky enough to enjoy the sun out on the comfortable garden furniture. Mirjam was a friendly and very accommodating host. We would highly recommended this letting for a couple or party of 3 wanting to make the most of all that Amsterdam has to offer!!
